Ingredients
- 300 g Flour t55
- 7 g Fresh baker's yeast
- 120 g Milk
- 30 g Granulated sugar
- 40 g Butter
- 1 Egg
- 2 g Salt
- 500 g Colza oil
- 1 Liquid caramel
- 1 Icing sugar
- 1 Pecan nut
Steps
Dough Preparation
- Add 300 g of flour t55, 7 g of fresh baker's yeast in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 5sec / 0°C / Speed 4.
- Add 120 g of milk, 30 g of granulated sugar, 40 g of butter, 1 egg, 2 g of salt in the food processor bowl.
- Mix knead: 3:00min / 0°C / Speed 3.
- Move the dough into a lightly oiled bowl.
- Wash the food processor bowl.
- Setaside the dough in a bowl cover with plastic wrap during 1h .
Shaping and Frying
- Divide it into 6 equal pieces.
- On a lightly floured workplan, roll each piece into an oval shape, about 15 cm long and 8 cm wide, resembling a beaver's tail.
- Add 500 g of colza oil in a pan.
- Cook in the pan at 180°C.
- Fry in the pan during 2min.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on baking_tray.
Garnish and Serving
- Place the fried beaver tails on a serving dish.
- Add 1 liquid caramel on a service dish.
- Sprinkle 1 icing sugar, 1 pecan nut on the service dish.
- Serve Hot.
