  • 500 g Milk

Steps

  2. Peel and slice the onions.
  3. Add 10 g of butter in a pan.
  4. Pan fry in the pan over medium heat.
  5. Sauté the onions until golden brown.
  6. Setaside the preparation content at the plate.

Bechamel Sauce

  1. Add 40 g of butter in the food processor bowl.
  2. Mix manual: 3:00min / 100°C / Speed 1.
  3. Add 40 g of flour in the food processor bowl.
  4. Mix manual: 3:00min / 90°C / Speed 3.
  5. Add 500 g of milk gradually, 1 pinch(es) of salt, 1 pinch(es) of pepper in the food processor bowl.
  6. Mix manual: 8:00min / 90°C / Speed 4.
  7. Add 50 g of grated gruyère in the food processor bowl.
  8. Mix manual: 1:00min / 0°C / Speed 3.

Assembly

  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C.
  2. Brush 10 g of butter on a baking dish.
  3. Butter an ovenproof dish.
  4. Place the content of the plate in the baking dish.
  5. Layer potato slices in the dish, overlapping each slice.
  6. Pour the content of the food processor bowl on the baking dish.
  7. Pour the béchamel sauce evenly over the potatoes.
  8. Place the content of the plate on the baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle the sautéed onions over the sauce.
  10. Sprinkle 50 g of grated gruyère on the baking dish.
  11. Top with the remaining Gruyère.
  12. Cook in the oven at 200°C during 30min.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
