Ingredients
- 100 g Dried tomato
- 100 g Olive oil
- 10 g Clove of garlic
- 15 g Fresh basil
- 1 Pinch(es) Salt
- 1 Pinch(es) Pepper
Steps
Infusion
- Add 100 g of dried tomato in an airtight jar.
- Add 100 g of olive oil in the airtight jar.
- Peel, and add 10 g of clove of garlic in the airtight jar.
- Close the jar and let infuse for at least 2 hours.
Tomato Spread
- Drain the content of the airtight jar in a strainer.
- Reserve the Olive Oil.
- Transfer the content of the strainer in the food processor bowl.
- Add 15 g of fresh basil in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 10sec / 0°C / Speed 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula
- Mix manual: 5sec / 0°C / Speed 5.
- Add gradually the Olive Oil while mixing until the spread reaches your desired consistency.
- Add 1 pinch(es) of salt adjust according to the tastes, 1 pinch(es) of pepper adjust according to the tastes in the food processor bowl.
- Serve the tomato spread on Country Bread or Baguettes.
