4. Master Meal Planning
Organize your weekly meals effortlessly with KudoCook’s robust meal planning features.
- Add Recipes Directly from Any Recipe Page: While viewing any recipe, tap the radial menu and select “Add to Calendar” to schedule it into your meal plan.
- Access the Meal Planning Section: Navigate to the Meal Planning section from the main menu to view and manage all your scheduled meals.
- View and Manage Planned Meals:
- Tap Any Day: Select any day to see the meals and recipes already planned.
- Swipe Left on a Recipe:
- Edit: Modify the recipe details or change the meal slot.
- Duplicate: Make a copy of the recipe in your meal plan.
- Delete: Remove the recipe from your meal plan.
- Swipe Right on a Recipe:
- Mark as Done: Indicate that you’ve completed preparing this meal.
- Copy and Paste Meal Plans:
- Copy a Date Range: Replicate a series of meals by copying a range of dates.
- Set Dates for Copying:
- Start and End Date to Copy: Choose the period you want to duplicate.
- Start Date for Paste: Select where you want the copied meal plan to begin.
- Confirm Copy: Your meal plan is now duplicated in the new date range, saving you time on planning.
- Generate a Consolidated Shopping List:
- Tap the Shopping Basket Icon: Quickly generate a shopping list for all planned meals.
- Set Start and End Dates: Include all recipes within your selected date range.
- Automatic Ingredient Compilation: All ingredients from the selected recipes are added to your shopping list, streamlining your grocery shopping.
- Share Your Meal Plan:
- With Other Users: Easily share your meal plan with family or friends who are also using KudoCook.
- Coordinate Meals: Collaborate on meal planning and grocery shopping.
- Create and Use Meal Plan Templates:
- Save Templates: Create a template from a date range and save it for future use.
- Search for Templates: Use the search function to quickly find saved templates.
- Apply Templates: Reuse your favorite meal plans without starting from scratch.
- Manage Your Meal Plan Efficiently:
- Empty Your Meal Plan: Clear your entire meal plan when you need a fresh start.
