Potato Gnocchi using a Thermomix

Ah, potato gnocchi—the cozy, pillowy dumplings that have been tickling taste buds since the 16th century! Originating from the rustic kitchens of Northern Italy, these delightful morsels are a testament to the beauty of simple ingredients. Legend has it that gnocchi were invented by Italian peasants who wanted to make the most of their humble potatoes, and boy, did they succeed! With just potatoes, flour, and eggs, these little clouds of goodness can be transformed into a gourmet dish with a splash of your favorite sauce. Toss them in a rich tomato sauce or sauté them in butter for a heavenly bite. Just remember to roll them on the back of a fork for those signature ridges that catch all that delicious sauce—because who doesn’t want extra flavor in every bite?
