  • 300 g Water
  • 5 g Salt
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Honey

Steps

Dough Preparation

  1. Add 500 g of flour, 300 g of water, 5 g of salt in the food processor bowl.
  2. Mix knead: 5:00min / 0°C / Speed 2.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface.
  4. Knead the dough by hand for 2 minutes. Form a ball.
  5. Setaside the dough on a workplan cover with plastic wrap during 30min.

Shaping and Cooking

  1. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
  2. Add 100 g of butter in a saucepan.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. On a lightly oiled surface, stretch each portion into a very thin, large circle. Brush with melted Butter.
  5. Fold the circle in half, brush with Butter again, and fold in half again to form a square. Repeat with all portions.
  6. Cook on the fry pan with an oil base.
  7. Heat a lightly oiled large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook each square of dough for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Press down gently with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

Serving

  1. Stack the cooked squares on a plate.
  2. Add 100 g of honey on a plate.
  3. Serve Immediately.
