Imagine sinking your fork into a slice of this fondant cake, where the rich chocolate chips play hide and seek among tender, caramelized pears. Originating from the French patisserie tradition, this cake is a delightful embrace of flavors, embodying the sweet sophistication of rustic French desserts. The combination of semi-whole wheat flour and powdered almonds gives it a unique texture, while the brown sugar glaze adds a touch of decadence.
