Craving a crispy, golden delight? Dive into the world of Milanesa! Tenderized flank steak, kissed with aromatic parsley and garlic, then cloaked in a parmesan-infused breadcrumb armor. Pan-fried to perfection in olive oil and finished with a squeeze of bright lemon. Prepare for a taste of pure comfort!

Ingredients

  • 4 Flank steaks
  • 50 g Fresh parsley
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Pinch(es) Salt
  • 1 Pinch(es) Pepper
  • 100 g Breadcrumb
  • 50 g Grated parmesan cheese
  • 50 g Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon

Steps

Meat Preparation

  1. Add 4 flank steaks on a workplan.
  2. Pound the flank steak to about 1/4 inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin
  3. Add 50 g of fresh parsley, 2 cloves of garlic in the food processor bowl.
  4. Mix chop: 5sec / 0°C / Speed 5.
  5. Add 2 eggs, 1 pinch(es) of salt, 1 pinch(es) of pepper in the food processor bowl.
  6. Mix manual: 10sec / 0°C / Speed 3.
  7. Transfer the content of the food processor bowl in a bowl.
  8. Setaside the preparation content in the bowl.

Breadcrumb Mixture

  1. Wash the food processor bowl.
  2. Add 100 g of breadcrumb, 50 g of grated parmesan cheese in the food processor bowl.
  3. Transfer the content of the food processor bowl in the bowl.
  4. Dip each pounded Flank Steak into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Then, dredge the steak in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

Frying the Milanesa

  1. Add 50 g of olive oil in a frypan.
  2. Cook in the oven with an oil base.
  3. Carefully place the breaded Flank Steak into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
