  • 150 g Nut
  • 100 g Granulated sugar
  • 0.05 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon powder
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon(s) Orange blossom water
  • 150 g Water
  • 150 g Honey

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  2. Line a baking mold with parchment paper.
  3. Add 375 g homemade puff pastry on a workplan.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into two equal halves.
  5. Add 150 g of nut, 100 g of granulated sugar, 0 teaspoon(s) of cinnamon powder in the food processor bowl.
  6. Mix manual: 8sec / 0°C / Speed 5.
  7. Add 150 g of butter on the workplan.
  8. Spread one half of the puff pastry in the baking mold and brush it with melted butter.
  9. Next, add half of the nut mixture onto the puff pastry.
  10. Repeat steps 4 and 5 with the second half of the puff pastry and the remaining nut mixture.
  11. Brush the top of the pastry with the remaining melted butter.
  12. Cook in the oven at 180°C during 30min to 35min.
  13. Wash the food processor bowl.
  14. Add 1 tablespoon(s) of orange blossom water, 150 g of water, 150 g of honey in the food processor bowl.
  15. Mix manual: 10:00min / 90°C / Speed .
  16. Once the pastry is out of the oven, pour the warm honey syrup over it.
  17. Allow the pastry to cool and let it soak up the syrup for about 1 to 2 hours.
  18. Serve and enjoy your delicious Baklava.
