Indulge your senses with this delightful strawberry ice cream, a frozen treat that brings back memories of sun-soaked picnics and lazy summer afternoons. With just three simple ingredients – strawberries, sugar, and clotted cream – this recipe is as easy as pie, or should I say, ice cream! Did you know that strawberries are not actually berries, but rather an aggregate accessory fruit? This means each tiny seed on the strawberry's surface is technically its own fruit! So, as you savor each spoonful of this luscious ice cream, you're enjoying a deliciously complex treat that's been enjoyed since ancient Roman times, when they would mix snow with fruit and honey. Now that's a sweet history worth scooping into!
