Ingredients
- 150 g Granulated sugar
- 50 g Butter
- 4 Apples
- 5 Eggs
- 60 g Cornflour (maïzena)
- 250 g Fresh liquid cream
- 0.5 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla extract
- 1 Tablespoon(s) Calvados
Steps
- Add 80 g of granulated sugar in a pan.
- Cut in pieces, and add 50 g of butter in the pan.
- Then heat over high heat until a slight color develops.
- Peel, cut in four, and add 4 apples in the pan.
- Cook in the pan during 10min.
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Spread the caramelized apples evenly over the bottom of a round cake pan (24 cm in diameter) and set aside.
- Add 5 eggs, 60 g of cornflour (maïzena), 70 g of granulated sugar, 250 g of fresh liquid cream, ½ teaspoon(s) of vanilla extract in the food processor bowl.
- Add 1 tablespoon(s) of calvados in a bowl.
- Mix manual: 20sec / 0°C / Speed 6.
- Pour pour the mixture over the apples in the mold.
- Cook in the oven with rotating heat at 180°C during 30min.
- Serve it warm or cold.
