apple far using a Thermomix

Imagine taking a stroll through the French countryside, where the orchards are bursting with juicy apples and the air is thick with the sweet scent of baked goods. Enter the delightful 'apple far,' a dessert that marries the humble apple with a custardy goodness that will have you singing 'Ooh La La!' with each spoonful. With a dash of Calvados for that extra kick, this dish is a nod to the traditional far breton from Brittany, which has been delighting taste buds since the Middle Ages. Legend has it that farmers would whip this up to use up their surplus apples, but little did they know they were creating a timeless classic that would make its way into the hearts of dessert lovers everywhere. Whether enjoyed warm or cold, this treat is simply a slice of heaven on a plate!
