Ingredients
- 200 g Soft dried fig
- 125 g Butter
- 250 g Flour t55
- 75 g Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg
- 5 g Baking powder
Steps
Fig Filling
- Add 200 g of soft dried fig in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 5sec / 0°C / Speed 5.
- Transfer the content of the food processor bowl in a bowl.
Cookie Dough
- Wash the food processor bowl.
- Add 125 g of butter, 250 g of flour t55, 75 g of granulated sugar, 1 egg, 5 g of baking powder in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 20sec / 0°C / Speed 4.
- Transfer the content of the food processor bowl in the bowl.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Roll out each part of the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin.
Assembly and Baking
- Place one rectangle of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking_paper.
- Spread the content of the bowl on some dough.
- Spread the chopped Soft Dried Figs evenly over the dough.
- Cover with the second rectangle of dough.
- Gently press the top layer of dough to seal the filling.
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Cook in the oven at 180°C during 15min.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool completely before cutting them into rectangular shapes.
- Serve Cold.
