Ingredients
- 300 g Quince
- 100 g Granulated sugar
- 100 g Water
- 1 Egg
Steps
Quince Filling
- Peel, and add 300 g of quince in the food processor bowl.
- Add 100 g of granulated sugar, 100 g of water in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 25:00min / 100°C / Speed 2.
- Mix manual: 30sec / 0°C / Speed 8. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula
- Setaside the preparation content in a bowl let cool.
Assembling the Pastelitos
- Preheat the oven at 200°C.
- Roll out the Puff Pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 3mm thickness.
- Cut the pastry into 10 cm squares.
- Place a tablespoon of Quince Filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Crimp the edges with a fork.
- Brush 1 egg on a pastry brush.
Baking
- Place the pastelitos on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Cook in the oven at 200°C during 15min.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Let the pastelitos cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Transfer pastelitos to a wire rack to cool completely.
