Quince paste, or 'Dulce de Membrillo', is the sweet, tangy treat that has been enchanting taste buds since the days of the ancient Greeks! This delightful delicacy is crafted from the humble quince, a fruit that looks like a cross between an apple and a pear, and is often overlooked in favor of its more popular counterparts. With a simple concoction of quinces, sugar, and water, you'll be transported to a world where sweetness meets nostalgia. Fun fact: in Spain, it's traditionally served with cheese – a pairing that elevates both the savory and sweet to new heights. So, roll up your sleeves and let the vibrant aroma of cooking quinces fill your kitchen as you create your own slice of history!
