Originating from the Caribbean, where coconuts are plentiful and bananas are a staple, this dish has a story as sweet as its taste. Legend has it that sailors used to bake this treat aboard their ships, using whatever ingredients they had on hand, and the result was always a hit among the crew! With a splash of dark rum to elevate the flavors, this dessert is not only a feast for your taste buds but also a mini-vacation for your senses.
