Imagine a world where chocolate reigns supreme and beggars become the most indulgent of treats! These Chocolate Beggars are not just a sweet delight; they're a whimsical nod to the classic French 'mendiants', traditionally made with chocolate discs topped with nuts and dried fruits, symbolizing the four monastic orders. With a sumptuous blend of dark chocolate, a hint of salted butter, and a generous sprinkle of dried fruits, these little discs of happiness will transport you straight to a Parisian café, where the only thing richer than the chocolate is the laughter around you. Fun fact: the term 'beggar' comes from the Latin word 'mendicus', aptly named since these treats were often offered to the poor! So, indulge your inner chocolate lover and let these beggars charm your taste buds!
