Imagine a culinary hug wrapped in golden, flaky pastry: that's the magic of salmon puff pastry! This dish marries the rich, smoky flavor of salmon with a creamy garlic and herb cheese spread, creating a symphony of taste that dances on your palate. Originating from the French patisserie tradition, puff pastry has been a favorite since the days of Marie Antoinette, who likely would have traded her cake for a bite of this savory delight! Perfect as an appetizer or a fancy brunch treat, each bite is a testament to the art of indulgence, making it hard to resist going back for seconds. Fun fact: Did you know that puff pastry can have up to 1,000 layers? Talk about a flaky affair!
