Croustillons, those delightful little golden nuggets of joy, are the culinary equivalent of a carnival ride – thrilling and oh-so-addictive! Originating from the heart of Belgium, these deep-fried treats are like a warm hug for your taste buds. With a batter that includes the magical combo of fresh baker's yeast and a splash of blond beer, they rise to fluffy perfection before taking a dip in hot oil, resulting in a crispy exterior and a soft, airy interior. Did you know that the name 'croustillons' means 'crunchy bits' in French? Perfectly named, as every bite is a crunchy explosion of flavor that has been enjoyed at fairs and festivals for generations.
