Ingredients
- 300 g Red onion
- 20 g Olive oil
- 200 g Soft dried fig
- 60 g Balsamic vinegar
- 60 g Brown sugar
- 2 g Salt
- 1 g Pepper
Steps
Red Onion & Fig Prep
- Cut in four, and add 300 g of red onion in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 5sec / 0°C / Speed 5.
- Add 20 g of olive oil in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 5:00min / 120°C / Speed 1.
- Chop the soft dried figs into small pieces.
Chutney Cooking
- Add 200 g of soft dried fig, 60 g of balsamic vinegar, 60 g of brown sugar, 2 g of salt, 1 g of pepper in the food processor bowl.
- Mix manual: 20:00min / 100°C / Speed 1 in inverse.
- Check the consistency; if it's too liquid, cook for another 5 minutes at Varoma / Speed 1 / Reverse blade, without the measuring cup.
Jarring
- Pour the content of the food processor bowl in an airtight jar.
- Seal immediately and let cool.
