Originating from the heart of Europe, these treats have a history that dates back centuries, perhaps even to the times when bakers would craft them for festive celebrations. The addition of dark rum adds a touch of sophistication, making each bite feel like a little indulgent escape. Picture this: you're in a cozy kitchen, the aroma of freshly baked walnut sticks wafting through the air, and suddenly, you find yourself transported to a quaint village market where laughter and the clinking of mugs echo all around.
